2010 wrap up

Well its been a month since my last confession(blog)

I want to start off by saying thanks to all of my 2010 brides!!

Below are some highlight shots from some of my weddings.

I will try to keep blogging(i hate it) and post pictures of things
like the 2011 OBWA bridal expo and things like that.

Thanks again for the busy(40 wedding) year and i hope
that next year is even BETTER!!!

McCaffery Wedding

Corolla Weddings September 18 &21, 2010

First(bottom) off is the Husted Wedding, took

place at an event home in corolla NC. At this

Wedding we didn’t even hit the beach at all.

Still a great wedding in the front yard of a

huge house!

2^nd(top), the Ilsley Wedding.

this wedding happened all on the beach (lol)

the ceremony and reception both took place

on the beach.

This couple also hired me for some shots

the day before the wedding.

Event House Wedding September 14, 2010

Kill Devil Hills

It was a great day, with great weather. The

reception was held at a beach house in Kill

Devil Hills. There were some EPIC skies

later in the afternoon.

*Side-note*

Brides sometimes get upset when she wakes

up and sees that it is cloudy and stormy.

DON’T be that is great news for your pictures.

Griffith Wedding

Event House Wedding September 9, 2010

Kill Devil Hills

My wife works at a local daycare center called

Children’s Workshop. Holly(the bride) worked

with my wife for a few months. Holly found

out that I was a wedding photographer and

asked if I would shoot her wedding.

Holly and Jeff put on a great wedding and

reception. They had perfect weather and

great spirits lasting into the night.

Beach Wedding September 4, 2010

Kitty Hawk Beach

Well it was a double wedding day, for us at

colemanshots. Nathan Lawrenson and I shot

this beautiful wedding ceremony that took place

on the beaches of Kitty Hawk. The reception was

held at the Colington Harbor Boat House. Nathan

and I had been there before, but it had been over

10 years and the place looks great now with all of

the remodeling.

Kitty Hawk Pier House

It was a beautiful sunny day on the OBX. What a

fun presence the newlyweds had as the tide came

up during the ceremony. The beautiful blue/green

water made for some great photos. Thanks to Tom &

Nic of ColemanShots for shooting this wedding.

Murphy Wedding

Beach Wedding August 28, 2010

We love Kitty Hawk Pier House weddings.

What a great day to get married. Everything was great

down to the homemade décor and beautiful flowers.

Friends and family enjoyed a sunny day at the beach

followed by a beautiful wedding.

Earl the Girl!

Well everyone,

We got through hurricane Earl... Aside from my
father-in-laws truck hitting my garage door
and scratching it, we made out just fine!

With a double wedding weekend on the horizon
I was a little worried about the approaching
storm; however, the storm only gave them
perfect sunsets.

Libby Wedding

Beach Wedding August 21st 2010

Oh how I love a beautiful sky.
Thanks to Rhonda and Karl for the secret wedding location!

From the beautiful sound of the crashing waves to the amazing
sky that night, the 21st turned out to be a perfect night for a
beach wedding. I had a great time shooting this wedding with
my young intern Nic Nelson.
